This conference aims to foster interdisciplinary discussion around the neural, cognitive, and phenomenological links between memory and consciousness. Through different contributions, we will explore how memory supports conscious experience, how conscious states shape memory, and how brain imaging helps to map this interplay. We will pay particular attention to how EEG/MEG and fMRI reveal the temporal and spatial dynamics of remembering, the construction of mental time, and the neural basis of self-related memory processes.
